In an ongoing effort to increase McMaster’s network reliability and performance, University Technology Services (UTS) has scheduled a network maintenance window for Sunday Jul 21, 2024, 7:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.. During this maintenance window, the following buildings and services will be affected. Please note that not all services will be impacted for the entire duration of the maintenance window.
• Information Technology Building (ITB): Network upgrades affecting wired, wireless, and telephones throughout the entire building. • Student Buildings: Hedden Hall, Mary Keyes, Les Prince, and Peter George Centre for Living and Learning (PGLLC): Network switch software updates affecting wired, wireless, and telephones in all these buildings. • T32/T33: Parking Office and former Day Care building: Network upgrades affecting wired, wireless, and telephones throughout the entire building. • Wireless: Short wireless (Wi-Fi) outages impacting a small portion of the campus.
